Malou Gorter is one of the most established actresses in the Netherlands with a long-running career in film, television, and theatre. She has played leading roles in series such as the long-running series Oogappels (2019-2025, NPO), the award-winning series De Joodse Raad (2024, NPO), De Verschrikkelijke Jaren 80 (2022, NPO), Hollands Hoop (2020 NPO), Mocro Maffia (2018-2020), and Het Jaar van Fortuyn (2022, NPO). She stars in films such as Kain (2025, NPO), Wheelie (2025, NPO), De Vaandeldrager Vijf (2024, NPO), Tonio (2016) and Ik Geloof Dat Ik Gelukkig Ben (2015). On stage, she starred in the critically-acclaimed Phaedra in vlammen (2025), Branden (2024), Revolutionary Road (2022-2023) and Borgen (2016), the eight-hour-long Dutch stage adaptation of the renowned Danish television series.
