Emma de Thouars is a cookbook author, podcast host, presenter, and culinary writer specialized in Asian cuisine. Tofu, the third book in her Amazing Asia series, received the Silver Cookbook ’22. Other books in the series, include Amazing Asia (2020), Emma’s Amazing Asia Vega (2021) and Noedels (2023). She writes a monthly recipe column for PS Het Parool, co-hosts the weekly food podcast Opscheppers and presents the KRO-NRCV program Temple Food (2023), which is about buddhist food culture in South-Korea. She has Indonesian roots but takes inspiration from the great variety that Asia has to offer in order to create approachable and fun recipes.
