Carly Wijs

Carly Wijs is an established actor known for her work in theater, cinema and television. Carly has played in numerous television series, including De Vaandeldrager Vijf (2024, NPO), Ted Lasso S3 (2023, Apple TV+), Het Jaar van Fortuyn (2022, NPO), Suspects (2017-2018, RTL), De Vloer Op (2015-2019, NPO), Divorce (2012-2016, RTL),) and Pleidooi (1993, NPO). She starred in films such as The Claus Family 1 & 2 (2020, 2021), Promise of Pisa (2019), Oude Liefde (2017), Weg van Jou (2017), Rokjesdag (2016) and the blockbuster Alles is Liefde (2007). In addition to her acting work, Carly also works as a director and writer, having published her first novel Het Twijfel Experiment in 2016. Her play Us/Them won the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe First Award and went on to be performed at the National Theatre in London.
