Bo Tarenskeen is a Dutch playwright, actor, director, screenwriter and co-founder of Theater Na de Dam. For his theatre debut 1000 zalen (2009) he received the prestigious Ton Lutz Award. He has written, directed and performed acclaimed plays such as Tegen de wet (2024-2026), Wittgenstein 1 en 2 (2021- 2025), Het Indisch interieur (2022), HEIDEGGER (2018) and KISSINGER (2017). For Theater Na de Dam he wrote the widely talked-about play Waar wij voor strijden (2023, starring Jacob Derwig) and Voor ik vergeet (2016, starring Nasrdin Dchar). Currently he is co-writing the screenplay for the film adaptation of Max Havelaar, to be directed by Shariff Korver.
