Eelco Smits

Eelco Smits is an established actor known for his roles in the feature film De Idylle (2025), De Vaandeldrager Vijf (2024, NPO), Pink Moon (Tribeca Film Festival 2022), Buiten is het Feest (2020) and Boy Meets Gun (2019). He starred in several TV series, including De Ring (2024, NPO), Incognito (2022, Videoland), Judas (2023, Videoland), Vliegende Hollanders (2020, NPO), Klem (2018, NPO), and the multi-season series Bloedverwanten (2012 – 2014, NPO). He has a tremendous track record on stage and he was the winner of the most prestigious theater award Louis D’or for his lead role in Geschiedenis van Geweld, directed by Abdel Daoudi (Toneelschuur 2023).
