Michaela Mabinty DePrince is a renowned ballerina known for her performances world wide. At the age of 17, she became the youngest ballerina to join the Dance Theatre of Harlem. In 2013, she joined the Dutch National Ballet. She co-authored the book “Taking Flight: From War Orphan to Star Ballerina,” with her adoptive mother. In 2016, Michaela became an Ambassador for War Child Netherlands.
