Carly Wijs

Carly Wijs is an established actor known for her work in theater, cinema, and television. She starred in films such as Metamorfose (2023), The Claus Family 1 & 2 (2020, 2021), Promise of Pisa (2019), Oude Liefde (2017), Weg van Jou (2017), Rokjesdag (2016), and the blockbuster Alles is Liefde (2007). Carly has played in numerous television series, including Het Jaar van Fortuyn (2022, NPO), Suspects (2017-2018 RTL), Divorce (2012-2016, RTL), Gooische Vrouwen (2006, RTL), and Pleidooi (1993, NPO). In addition to her acting work, Carly also works as a director and writer, having published her first novel in 2016. Her play Us/Them won the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe First Award and went on to be performed at the National Theatre in London.
